For this trip you will be able to choose to do the Kenya safari only, the Uganda only or both trips and if you are interested – there is an option to do mission work in Wakiso, Uganda at the Show Mercy ministry in Uganda after the trip for 5-7 nights.

We depart on Jan 9th 2026 arriving Jan 10th 2026 into Nairobi Kenya for 1 night at the Tribe Hotel.
In the am before flying to Samburu – We will visit the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage (you can adopt a rescued baby elephant) and the Giraffe Center. Then we will take a flight to Samburu for a Jan 11- 13 – 2 night safari in the red desserts of northern Kenya – at the Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp. Samburu, a striking region in northern Kenya, is a haven for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts alike. Characterized by its rugged terrain, dramatic landscapes, and vibrant cultural heritage, Samburu offers a unique safari experience. The area is home to the Samburu National Reserve, where visitors can witness a wealth of wildlife, including the rare “Samburu Special Five”—the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and the endangered gerenuk. Jan 13 – 15 – Next stop is Lewa, we will travel overland from Samburu to Lewa – Nestled in the heart of Kenya’s vibrant Rift Valley, Lewa is a captivating blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. This picturesque region is renowned for the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a sanctuary dedicated to preserving Africa’s most iconic wildlife, including the endangered white and black rhinos. Jan 15- 18 -Then to the top safari destination in East Africa – the Masai Mara staying 3 nights at andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp

Jan 18 – 19 – 1 night Kampala, Uganda – Casa Solada

Jan 19 – In the am day 2 – we will drive to Murchinson Falls National Park – cruise the NILE River and safari in the largest national park in Uganda for Jan 19-22 – 3 nights at Twiga Safari Lodge

Murchison Falls, located in northwestern Uganda, is a stunning natural wonder renowned for its dramatic beauty and powerful force. At the heart of Murchison Falls National Park, the Nile River cascades through a narrow gorge, plummeting 43 meters in a thunderous display of raw power and creating a spectacular spray that forms rainbows in the sunlight. Jan 22 – 24 – Flight to Queen Elizabeth National Park for 2 nights at Mweya Lodge.
We will take a boat trip on the beautiful Kazinga Channel and see incredible amounts of wildlife. Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park -Queen Elizabeth National Park, situated in southwestern Uganda, is a jewel of biodiversity and natural beauty. This expansive park, named in honor of Queen Elizabeth II, is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, which range from savannahs and wetlands to rainforests and volcanic landscapes. It’s a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, offering opportunities to spot the Big Four—elephant, lion, leopard, and buffalo—as well as hippos, crocodiles, and a plethora of bird species, including the rare shoebill stork. The park’s famous Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George, provides spectacular boat safaris where visitors can see a vibrant array of wildlife up close. Queen Elizabeth National Park also features unique geological formations like the crater lakes, adding to its allure as a destination rich in both wildlife and scenic wonder.

Jan 24 – We then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for trekking Mountain Gorillas One Gorilla Trek is included (2nd is $800 per person per trek). Other options here are jungle treks looking for other primates, birding. We will be here Jan 24-26 – 2 nights at Buhoma Lodge
